School About Web Address (URL)
Tooker Avenue School, Fifth Grade
UNITED STATES
There are 22 students aged 10 years old studying all subjects. We have five networked computers in our classroom and a computer lab across the hall. Our school hours are 9:05 A.M.-3:05 P.M. During the week we have special classes: Physical Education twice, Library, Computer, Art, and Music. Our lunch period is 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Please check our school web page to learn more about us: http://www.westbabylon.k12.ny.us
We live in a hamlet that is larger than a village, but smaller than a town. We live on the South shore of Long Island on the Great South Bay. Fire Island blocks us from the Atlantic Ocean. When looking at a map of New York you will notice the large upstate region first, then New York City. Long Island juts out from the City and resembles a fish. West Babylon is a working class community.
