Geilston Bay High School

22 students aged 12- 13 years. Our High
School is in a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania's capital city on the eastern
shore of the Derwent River. We have approx 320 students in grades
7-10, the school celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2002 and our website
was created as a special anniversary project. Each year we plan to
update this as an ongoing record of our school's history. |

I teach a class of 28 grade students in
a middle-class primary school in Launceston. We are beginning a multi-disciplinary
unit based on multiculturalism and cultural diversity in the coming

Not very culturally diverse; have some
ASSPA children but not with strong traditional cultural backgrounds;
many live on nearby farms; mixture of boys and girls in both grades
5 & 6. North West coast school - large primary school for the
area approx. 515 children in total; many children belong to guide
and scout groups; play a range of seasonal sports and surf club.

in the Tamar Valley, and is a suburb of Launceston in the north of
Tasmania. Our school population is approx. 650 students from k - 6.

The school is Miandetta Primary School and caters for students from
Kindergarten to Grade 6 (4-12 years). The School Community is made
from predominantly Aglo-Saxon and Aboriginal families and has a total
of approximately 260 students. |
